NO PIMPLES NO MARKS
Acne is a common and recurring skin problem that is tough to get rid of. Your first reaction may be to run to a dermatologist, but infact you may be able to help yourself much more with some effective home remedies so think again. Natural remedies can often be as effective as medication. Here are a few natural ingredients to help to start with your own skin care cure.
- Honey makes a great facial mask as its antibacterial properties are great for disinfecting and healing blemishes. It is also gentle on sensitive skin and therefore suits any skin type.
- Apple Cider Vinegar is another powerful solution, it has both antibacterial and antifungal properties. To start out, dilute a few teaspoons of it with water as it can be quite powerful when applied directly to your skin.
- Aloe Vera is tough to attain so you will have to maintain an aloe vera plant in your house! The effort is worth it as it not only soothes your skin, it also works as an anti-inflammatory; decreasing redness and swelling. It also kills away all the bacteria infesting your skin.
- Vitamin C is great for your skin! You can make an orange peel paste or apply some diluted lemon juice to get rid of breakouts. Vitamin C is good for all skin types and it contains citric acid which not only cleans your skin working as an astringent, but also helps to exfoliate the skin. Most importantly though, it is an astringent.
- Egg whites can affectively help to reduce acne and fade scars combating your skin’s blemishes. They’re packed with protein and vitamins that both combat acne and help renew your skin cells. Just make sure to use a good moisturiser afterwards, or else it will dry your skin.
- Mint contains menthol, which works as a natural anti-inflammatory and pain killer. It helps to fade the redness and ease up some of the discomfort caused by painful swellings. Take a decent handful of fresh mint leaves, crush them up thoroughly in a blender and rub the juice and crushed leaves on your face. Wash it off after about ten minutes.
- Ice cubes can be applied on the problematic area to help reduce inflammation. Not only does the cold close your skin’s pores, it also uproots the bacteria. If you can’t handle too much cold then you can also splash your face with cold water to achieve similar affects.
As long as you use nature’s wonderful remedies and use the Garnier Pure Active Neem face wash, your acne problems will be gone!
